Block Party

The Buckeye Mela Block Party is an annual tradition celebrating the beauty of South Asian culture! Taking place in the RPAC Pavilion in the afternoon on Saturday, April 7, 2012, there will be free food, great music, and lots of fun! There will also be several booths where you can learn more about the beauty of South Asian culture.

Get Ready for Buckeye Mela 5!

Buckeye Mela is a weekend celebrating South Asian culture organized by the Indian American Association, the Indian Students Association, and the South Asian Students’ Association at The Ohio State University, with sports tournaments, the block party, and Srujan, the intercollegiate South Asian dance competition. It is also a philanthropic event that raises thousands of dollars for charity every year.

Play Cricket
Buckeye Mela is proud to bring the post popular sport of South Asia to The Ohio State University! The Buckeye Mela Cricket Tournament, now into its third year, will be played all day on Saturday, April 7, 2012. The games will be played on the indoor turf fields of the RPAC at The Ohio State University using foam-filled tennis balls. The winning team will take away the magnificent trophy and the grand prize and will also be recognized on stage at Srujan on Saturday night. Better dust off your cricket bat and start getting ready for the greatest cricket tournament in the Midwest!
